Description
Well if it isn’t the illustration of shame (I sense a pattern): this one was started in 2018. I suffered on the pineapple, then I suffered on the lobster head, then I suffered when I realised that I had placed the latter at the wrong intended spot, throwing my intended composition out of the window. A couple clueless years later and the beautifully simple solution appeared as if in a dream: completing the composition with the already existing flowers painted in situ, with symmetrical twins copied from flowers that I had painted right on site too but on separate postcards. Postcards had been pinned on my desk all along, mind you.
